2011 Santa Lucia Festival

Alexandra Kristina Oscarson

Alexandra Kristina Oscarson is a 15 year old freshman at Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Missouri. Alex has participated in this Lucia program since she was three as her Swedish heritage is very important to her (Alex's great grandparents emigrated here from Sweden). While maintaining a 4.0 grade point average, Alex plays cello in Concert Orchestra, is active in her Church youth program and has just finished playing JV field hockey for Lafayette this year. She loves to sing, spend time with her family and travel. Her favorite trip was last summer's family vacation to Sweden where she loved standing on Strandvägen in Stockholm, eating smoked salmon and waving to the newly married Royal Couple. She wishes all "en rigtigt God Jul".
