TO ALL VIKINGS

Summer is almost over and it is time to haul the long boats ashore, oil our weapons so they don’t rust during the long Scandinavian winter, and prepare for 8 months of Viking Workshops. The next workshop will be on Sept. 26 (the fourth Tuesday as always) at 1:00 PM at the Kirkwood Commerce Bank meeting room (as always). We decided last Spring to discus the subject: “Viking Weapons and Technology” (including metallurgy). So, we all need to study up on the subject and come prepared to share what we have learned and discuss it. We also need to think about subjects for the rest of the year’s Workshops and come prepared to suggest subjects you would like to know more about. The bank prohibits weapons, so leave the swords and axes at home! Hope to see everyone there.
