Join fellow Scandinavian Clubs along with the Swedish Council for the annual Scandinavian Picnic on Sunday, September 22, 1:30 – 4:00 pm, Blue Heron Shelter in Simpson Park on Marshall Road.
Cost is $10/person, $5 kids 4-12, under 4 free.
This is our year to host, so the Swedish Council will be providing the meatballs, herring, boiled dill potatoes, knäckebröd, fruit salad, soft drinks, lemonade and coffee. Please bring a salad, side dish, or dessert according to this guide…A-E (salad), F-R (side dish), S-Z (dessert). As usual if you have a favorite Scandinavian dish you love to prepare and it doesn’t fit into the guide above, please, by all means, bring that.
